Real name: Marie Shaw

Minneapolis-based singer, songwriter, performer, and actor.

Mrs. Shaw's long career began when she joined her family's, Chicago-based revue "The Shaw Family Orchestra". playing standup bass. She continued to sing and perform throughout the country before establishing roots in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She performed from the 1940s into the late 1960s, including at the Panther Room in the old Minnesota Hotel.

She was also a member of "The Intolerables", a musical revue which approached current events and news stories in a satirical fashion.
