Bert Koelewijn

Bert Koelewijn (1953 in Spakeburg (Urtecht)) is a Dutch (church) organist and conductor of choirs.

Bert Koelewijn started from a young age with playing the organ during church services and conducting choirs. After studying architecture at the 'Gooise M.T.S.' he decided to study music at the Conservatory in Utrecht (elactric organ and later church organ). In 1976 a summer course inspired him to start conducting a girls choir. which became Meisjeskoor Deo Gloria. He followed a conducting course created by Kurt Thomas in 1978 and 1979.
