Stéphane Picq (b. 16 Aug 1965) is a French video game composer who primarily created soundtracks for ERE Informatique/Exxos and Cryo Interactive Entertainment titles. Picq is best known for his work on Dune* Spice Opera and Lost Eden. Picq started programming in the early 1980s, releasing his debut arcade game on ZX Spectrum in 1983, followed by another title for Amstrad CPC 464 home computer a year later. From 1985 to 1987, Stéphane Picq was in charge of the "video games section" at popular French magazine Science & Vie Micro. He began composing for computer games in 1988.

In 1998, Stéphane decided to retire from the music industry and permanently relocated to Madagascar. The composer announced that he established a portable home studio and began working again in February 2006. The soundtrack for one of his early games, MegaRace 1, was remastered in stereo and re-released as a digital download in August 2016.
