Lyricist, born 5 March 1903 in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, died 7 February 1942 in New York City.Kahal is best known for his songwriting collaboration with Sammy Fain that started in 1926 and lasted until his death in 1942. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970.
