Wilhelm Leiseifer

German Tenor, born 1900 in Hürth-Efferen near Cologne, died at 3rd. October in the year 1954 in Efferen.

He has never performed at Opera Houses or Concert Halls , was mainly a singer for Radio Stations, Choir and was discovered for the "Reichs-Rundfunk-Sender Köln" which has had financed his classical voice training to make him a member for its Chamber Choir.
After the year 1936 he started a solo career and was most popular for Operetta, arias and popular music recordings for Radio-stations and Record Companies.
After WW II he performed often with his Daughter Maria for the trying to start a new carreer.
His career ended after illness in 1950.
His Daughter Maria was later a member of the Kölner Rundfunkchor.
