Real name: Таисия Васильевна Пономаренко

Taisiya Vasilyevna Ponomarenko - (Born Dec 26th, 1925 in Varzorovka - now the village of Ordzhonikidze, Shiryaevsky district of Odessa region) - (lyric-dramatic soprano). People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1962).

In 1950, Taisiya Ponomarenko graduated from the Odessa Conservatory.
In 1944-1950 - Soloist of the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater.
From 1951 to 1971 - soloist of the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater.
In 1974-1978 - soloist of the Kiev Philharmonic.
