Sergey Platonov (June 16 (28), 1860, Chernigov, Russian Empire - January 10, 1933, Samara, USSR) - Russian and Soviet historian, teacher. Corresponding member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences since December 5, 1909 in the Historical and Philological Department, a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since April 3, 1920.
