Formed in Jönköping, Sweden back in early 2009, by Ricki, Jonathan and a case of beer. They wanted to create a band heavily influenced by the 80's, Motörhead, Guns n’ Roses and the like. Sprinkle a bit of modern sound like Hardcore Superstar on top and you have music for heavy metal parties and for just having a good time.

The band is probably most known for their sweaty, adrenaline packed and 100 % top fueled live shows and have been support to Electric Boys, Sister Sin, Art Nation, Babylon Bombs and Ryan Roxie amongst others.

Shakedown Suzies released their debut album “The Chase” (recorded at HoboRec Studios 2012 by Ulf Blomberg from Grace.Will.Fall), on their own, in 2017 on a strictly limited 12” vinyl, digital and stream.

In 2017, after a five year hiatus, a friend convinced them to get back together and they've continued to play live frequently since then. A new album was recorded in late 2019 with Jon “Möjligheternas man” Solheim. Mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque (King Diamond), A business doin’ pleasure was released in June 2020.
