Hatari is a multimedia performance project which aims to unveil the relentless scam we call everyday life. The project was awarded by The Reykjavík Grapevine as the "Best Live Band of 2016". They stormed the Icelandic scene after Iceland Airwaves 2016, where the likes of The Guardian stated: "You don't know whether to laugh or alert the authorities".

Hatari perform a home-brewed concoction of dance-focused MIDI-music, punk & Icelandic doomsday poetry. Dance or Die.

They won the Söngvakeppnin 2019 with the song "Hatrið Mun Sigra" (Hate Will Prevail), subsequently enabling them to represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, held in Tel Aviv, Israel.
