Real name: Erik Jonas Degerfält

Swedish tenor vocalist, born July 17, 1962 in Bureå.

He has been a member of the soloist ensemble at the Royal Opera in Stockholm since the 1994–1995 season.

Degerfeldt is educated at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg and the Academy of Opera in Stockholm. He made his debut as Beppe in Leoncavallo's Pajazzo at the Royal Opera in 1992. He has also appeared on stages such as the Glasgow Opera, Glyndebourne, Deutsche Oper in Berlin and La Monnaie in Brussels Before that he worked as a burlesque artist with Anneli Jonsson in Paris and later Berlin.

In the spring of 2001 he was awarded the Set Svanholm scholarship and in 2010 the Jussi Björling scholarship.
