Paul Hewson

Paul Hewson (born 1952 – died on 9 January 1985 of a drug overdose) was a New Zealand keyboardist and songwriter who started his professional career playing first with bands The Arch (2), Freedom Express and Cruise Lane and then after with Dragon during 1975–1979, Moved to Perth in May 1981 and joined The Essentials (8) who had short time Dragon vocalist Billy Rogers in the lineup, Dave McArtney & The Pink Flamingos during 1979–8/1982 and again with reformed Dragon during 8/1982 – late 1984.
