Slaughterhouse

Effective period / Period of releases: 2018 - 2021

Members: Miles Gretsky, Eddie Cairns, Taylor Ramirez, Nick Aguilar, Gaby Ramirez, Veronica Molidor

American post-punk band from Los Angeles, California, formed in San Pedro in 2018 by bassist Eddie Cairns (Local Hate), guitarist Taylor Ramirez, drummer Miles Gretsky (The Imposters (5), Acid Fad, Rolex (7), Grimly Forming), and singer Gaby Ramirez. They released a demo EP that January, but after their first tour both Gaby Ramirez and Gretsky left the group. They were replaced by drummer Nick Aguilar (LAW (19)) and singer Veronica Molidor. Slaughterhouse recorded their first album, Fun Factory, in early 2020 at Screaming Leopard, the studio owned by Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, who co-produced it with Patrick Burkholder. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the album's release was delayed until August 2021, on Recess Records. Molidor left Slaughterhouse in March 2023. Jenna Reynoza of Street Play filled in until new singer Meriel O'Connell was announced that September.
