American producer, songwriter and audio engineer, married with June Page and was born November 15, 1919 in Hartford, Connecticut and died February 15, 1991 in Los Angeles, CA.
Brother of Buddy Motola. Southern California based record man who did A&R work for Cadet Records, Inc. & Modern Records, then later managed Tender in the 1950s. Motola owned small local indie labels Transcontinental Records Co. and VPM in the early 1960s, and was an A&R executive for Cadet Records, Inc. in the 1970s.
