American roots rock band founded in 2012.

The Weight Band originated inside the famed Woodstock, NY barn of Levon Helm, when Jim Weider and Randy Ciarlante - both former members of The Band - were performing "Songs of The Band" with Garth Hudson, Jimmy Vivino and Byron Isaacs. Weider, Ciarlante and Isaacs began to carry on the tradition of performing songs from The Band, inviting Brian Mitchell, formerly of The Levon Helm Band, and Marty Grebb, formerly of The Buckinghams and a pervious Band collaborator, to complete their sound. Albert Rogers, a member of the Jim Weider Band, would join later on bass. Michael Bram replaced Randy Ciarlante on drums before the recording of the 2018 album World Gone Mad. Marty Grebb left after that album's release, replaced by Matt Zeiner.
