The following is from SRLP-8154: Sweden is a singing nation. Therefore Mrs. Mary Wallskog, an enthusiastic music teacher, graduate of The Royal Academy of Music of Stockholm, was able to communicate her fervor to a group of young, attractive college girls, aged 18 to 21. Thus the STOCKHOLM GIRLS CHOIR was founded. Since then the choir has appeared before his ROYAL MAJESTY KING GUSTAV ADOLF Vl of Sweden, has thrilled millions of radio listeners, has been acclaimed on a tour of European capitals, and has just concluded concert appearances through the U.S.A. This talented group of young voices is now recording exclusively for REQUEST RECORDS.
