Last Redoubt is the solo project of Halcyon. After beginning as a black metal project, it has transitioned to a black ambient/dungeon synth project. The general themes of Last Redoubt are the works of William Hope Hodgson, specifically his novel "The Night Land," but other melancholic themes and stories are also potential inspiration as well.
