Narcotic Syntax

Evolving from the project Hypnobeat, Narcotic Syntax was founded by James Dean Brown in 1996. While JDB had initially teamed up with the Perlon label heads Zip and Markus Nikolai for a few productions, yapacc became the steady narcompanion in April 2003. Late in 2003, Narcotic Syntax started blending song and club formats in cooperation with Robert Conroy from New York City, known as chanteuse for the transatlantic sonic glamour duo Misty Roses. From 2007-2012 Berlin-based guitarist Achim Treu was the fourth official band member. Narcotic Syntax play exclusively hardware live sets, occasionally joined by Pit Spector.
