The project initially began as a new solo outlet for Skyler Hitchcox after putting the Silver Antlers alias to rest. They continued to create mostly guitar-and-effect-based ambient / psych / drone music until the band eventually introduced Casey Hansen as a main collaborator on keys. The unit continued to expand on the emotive crescendos and droning atmospheres with additional instrumentation and fell farther into the realm of slowcore, post-rock and post-hardcore, later rounding out the outfit with Nora Price and Chaz Prymek.
