Originally from Milwaukee, Max has called Chicago home for the past seven years after completing his bachelor’s degree in Jazz guitar at The Oberlin Conservatory Of Music. In addition to pursuing his Master’s of Music Education with certification degree, he composes, arranges, teaches, and plays in several Chicago-based bands. From the rote music tradition of classical violin, to the aural improvisational styles of Jazz and Blues guitar, his musicianship imbues his love for this ancient art form.
