Founded in late 2017 by Jens B. Petersen (ex-Neotek, ManMindMachine, Bitter Distrust, Eisenwolf, Danish Electro), John R. Mirland (Mirland, Mirland/Larsen, Am Tierpark, M73, Bitter Distrust, Eisenwolf a.m.) and Tommy B-Kuhlmann (In Absentia, Body-Banden, Bitter Distrust, Eisenwolf, Danish Electro). The debut ep 'NO!' and album 'NOTHING!' were released in 2018 by Læbel. Negant also debuted as live act in 2018 with concerts in Berlin/DE and Copenhagen/DK. In march 2019 Negant released the digital mini ep NUMAN! with three Gary Numan cover versions (self-release on Bandcamp only) and in July 2019 Negant played at Familientreffen XV in Sandersleben, Germany and presented their latest ep ‘REFUSE!’ at that occassion, followed by a handful of digital singles. In 2023 Erik Sejer Pedersen from ee:man replaced John Mirland. The band is currently signed on the label Tinnitorturous and is working on new singles and their second album 'REJECT!'.
