Real name: Nolan Alfred Rinehart
American singer born in Comanche County, Texas.. He was among the first of the "singing cowboys" of the 1930s and 1940s and was also know as the "King of Border Radio." He was killed in a car crash in Detroit, Michigan, on October 28, 1948.
