Parti Hogia'r Pentre

Welsh singing group from Llanrhaeadr in the Vale of Clwyd. Founded around Christmas 1947 by Emrys Jones and another man who went carol singing in the local area to raise money to support the recently-retired District Nurse Williams. They continued to support her until she died in 1971. Peter Evan became conductor in 1948 and Jane Williams joined as accompanist in 1962. They specialise in carols and hymns.
