Jano (1996, Gütersloh, Germany) is a German-Lebanese singer.
Jano was born in Gütersloh and grew up in the Künsebeck district of Halle (Westphalia).
During her school days she played handball at HSG Union 92 Halle and became district champion with the A-youth.
Jano studies journalism and corporate communication at the University of Media, Communication and Economics in Cologne, where she also lives.
On April 30, 2014, she won Radio Gütersloh's local Sing a Song competition, but was unable to reach the top 3 in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe regional final.
In spring 2016 she published a cover of the piece Killing Me Softly with His Song by Lori Lieberman and Roberta Flack together with Charming Horses.
The song reached number 79 on the Polish airplay charts.
