Carl De Groof

Real name: Karl Krof

Austrian composer and conductor, born in Vienna (1923), died in Javea, Spain (2007). Made several recordings for labels such as Austroton and Polydor with his orchestra. In 1957, he conducted Austria's first Eurovision entry, 'Wohin, kleines Pony' by Bob Martin (22). Moreover, he composed the scores of countless films. In 1969, he wrote the music to the TV series “Der alte Richter”.
