Kaustisen Purppuripelimannit is a Finnish folk group, founded around 1946.

Line-up (mid-1950's): Elias Kentala (fiddle), Konsta Jylhä (fiddle), Veikko Järvelä (double bass), Veli Valo (harmonium)

The group was disbanded momentarily in 1958 after Elias Kentala died and Konsta Jylhä was injured in an accident. In 1963 Jylhä got the group back together with new members Hannu Rauma (fiddle) and Toimi Uusitalo (harmonium). In 1974 bassist Veikko Järvelä passed away, and Jylhä left the band due to his bad health. The group continued, with new members Raimo Uusitalo (fiddle) and Tapio Kivelä (double bass).
