Urban Zotel is a guitarist from Slovenia, mainly working with his instrumental band The Star Time Playboys and as solo artist.

His playing is inspired by early roots, country, swing and blues musicians such as Jimmy Bryant, Jimmie Rivers, Bill Jennings and countless others.

Dedication to roots styles was the reason to visit USA a couple of times and exploring the history of music, musical instruments, American history and meeting some of his idols including Junior Watson, TK Smith, Tommy Harkenrider and Kid Ramos.
