From Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia (band members commute to performances). Formed in 1989 at the Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival (New York). Perform annually at the Galax Old Time Fiddler’s Convention (Virginia). According to the band, the name comes from a joke about the Blinky Moon Tourist Court in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Band members: Lynn Dugger (banjo), Jeff Huss (guitar), Darin Lawrence (mandolin), Bill Ledbetter (bass), Tom Brantley (fiddle).
