Rainer Landfermann is a German musician based in Bonn.

He plays bass for the technical death metal band Pavor since their formation in 1987, and was the vocalist of Bethlehem from 1995 to 1996. He also played guitar in a death metal band called Lovelorn in the early 1990s.
His unique and extreme vocals can be heard on Bethlehem's critically acclaimed album 'Dictius Te Necare'. Rainer also provided vocals for a song on Anaal Nathrakh's 2011 album 'Passion'.
In 2019 he released his first solo album 'Mein Wort In Deiner Dunkelheit'.

Rainer is the older brother of Robert Landfermann.
