Jamaica vocal group from the rocksteady and early reggae era. The original line up of the Emotions was Max Romeo, Lloyd Shakespeare (the brother of bassist Robbie Shakespeare) and Kenneth Knight. With this line up the group recorded around five tunes for producer Blondel Calnek's Caltone set up circa 1967. Max Romeo left the group shortly after and was replaced by Audley Rollens, when Rollens left he was replaced by Milton Henry.
