Lollo Meier
Lollo Meier (born February 23, 1962 in Limburg ) is a Dutch gypsy jazz musician
The Legendary Dutch Gypsy Swing guitar Master, composer, bandleader and arranger, Lollo comes from an elite family of Gypsy players. His goal: to carry on the music of Django. Meier, who grew up in a family of musicians and is related to Fapy Lafertin and Stochelo Rosenberg , only began to play guitar at the age of twelve. In Belgium, he founded his first band, Swing 42 , before working with his ensemble Lollo Meier Szigano Swing , which included Silvia Gelbhart (violin), Bram van Es (guitar) and Jef van Gool (double bass)
