Czech composer and conductor.

Born August 1, 1908 in Prague (former Austro-Hungarian Empire), died September 17, 1979 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia).

Typical orchestration and favourite instrumentation: symphonic orchestra, percussion ensemble, organ, piano, mixed choir, solo vocals.
