Jen-E

Real name: Jenny Juckel

Effective period / Period of releases: 1997

Brisbane club/rave DJ.

After her first gig, which was at one of the infamous "Adrenalin" parties in 1992, Jen-E has gone on to feature in most major party line-ups, not only in Brisbane, but also in Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Cairns ... basically Australia wide.

DJ'ing led her to utilise her talents in writing by contributing to Brisbane's "Scene Magazine", interviewing countless international and domestic artists, and with her radio spot on Brisbane's longest running and most respected programme, "Crucial Cutz".

She has also dabbled in production, her first attempt being a remix of Base X’s "Kaleidoscope", followed by beXta’s "Close Encounters". In addition to this, she has also produced "Cities That Are Downlaid" with DJ Edwin, under the alias of Hot Pocket, which is featured on the very first "Advent'jah" compilation.
