French disco-electro songwriter, producer, arranger, and drummer.

Born: 24 May 1952 in Vitry-sur-Seine, Paris, France. Father of Greg Cerrone, brother of Jean-Pierre Cerrone.

According to the artist his name has always been Marc Cerrone. In an interview, he explained that, because his brother is named Jean-Pierre, his mother would often confuse their names and call him Jean-Marc on accident, and the nickname stuck.
