Bakolo Music International, whose name means "pioneers of music", is the oldest Congolese rumba group (mix of rumba, cha cha cha, biguine and tango) from Kinshasa: they have their roots in Victoria Kin and Bakolo Miziki International founded in 1948. As young musicians they accompanied Wendo Kolosoy (1925-2008), father of the Congolese rumba and creator that same year of the song "Marie-Louise".
