Karak

Members: Koko Komine, Hisaaki Hogari

Karak (usually styled KARAK, karak, or KaraK) was formed by Koko Komine (vocals, accordion) and Hisaaki Hogari (guitar) in 1987. Komine and Hogari knew each other from high school in Fukushima, and formed the band after graduating and moving to Tokyo. They released three albums: "Silent Days" in 1991, "Flow" in 1992 and "七月の雪" (July Snow) in 1998; and one single, "エニシダ" (Enishida) in 1993. Although they never officially disbanded, the band has been inactive since 1999.
