Clairo, born Claire Elizabeth Cottrill on August 18, 1998, is an American singer-songwriter from Atlanta, raised in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

She gained popularity with the viral success of her song "Pretty Girl" in 2017. Clairo signed a record deal and released her debut EP "Diary 001" in 2018. Her first studio album "Immunity" (2019) produced hit singles "Bags" and "Sofia," the latter marking her first Billboard Hot 100 chart entry.

Following the success of her second album "Sling" in 2021, Clairo released her third album, "Charm," on July 12, 2024, independently.
