Sjef Ficker
Dutch conductor, mostly working the field of windband music (symphonic windband and / or fanfare orchestras). Born June 18, 1957 he started out as an 8 year old boy playing cornet with Fanfare St. Cecilia Ubachsberg of which he eventually, after having studied conducting and trumpet at the conservatory of Maastricht and Den Haag, became conductor in 1989.
