French singer and composer, born in 1959.
Daran released his first album (J'évite le soleil) in 1992 with his band Daran et les Chaises. Another one followed in 1994 (Huit barré), with a major hit in France and Belgium : "Dormir Dehors".
He then followed his career under the name Daran and, apart from his own albums, he composes songs for major French-speaking artists, such as Johnny Hallyday, Florent Pagny or Maurane.
