American folk musician, jug and washtub bass player and sound engineer (10 July 1939, Newton, Massachusetts, USA - 20 November 2005, Portland, Oregon).He is considered a key figure on the Boston folk music scene and won national attention in 1963 with Jim Kweskin And The Jug Band. He is known to have worked at Elektra Sound Recorders.
