Drag performer and singer who gained an underground following in the early 1990s in New York City clubs including The Shelter, Midtown 43, Tracks, One Hot Spot and Better Days.In 1997, Renee was found dead in a hotel room. Curtains For You (A Tribute To Moi Renée) was released in tribute in 2003.
