US American "Bonehead Rock" band, based in Bellingham, Washington. Formed by Zack Van Houten and ex Mono Men/Estrus Records Dave Crider.
Their sound contains elements of 70's Monster Fuzz, and Hard Rock "could-a-beens". (no-knob fuzz boxes, lyrics about tripping), amplified through AC-30's or HiWatt amps set to blowout. Machine Animal is still active and causing mass hearing loss in the Seattle area.
