American singer and radio personality.
Born c.1950.
She was raised in Long Island, New York and Greenwich, Connecticut and moved to California in 1978. She sang with such orchestras as the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Sacramento Symphony, the Nashville Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony.
She was the interviewer, creator, and co-producer of a nationally syndicated CBS Radio feature “Parent Profile.” She also wrote an advice column, “Parents Hotline,” for Burbank-based L.A. Parent magazine, later syndicating it to other magazines.
Lynn-Barnes graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in child development from Cal State Northridge and with a master of arts degree in marriage and family counseling from the California Family Study Center in Los Angeles.
