Mexican poet and songwriter.
Ermilo Alfonso Padrón López "Chispas" (Merida, Yucatan, September 18, 1898 - September 14, 1978) - might also appear as Emilio Padrón
He studied at the State Literary Institute. With Guty Cárdenas, he composed the music of "Rayito del Sol" and "Para Olvidarte"; with Pepe Domínguez: "Torcacita" and "Responde"; with Licho Buenfil: "Desdén"; with Lauro Santa María, "Amapola del Trigal"; with José León Bojórquez: the suite "La vieja Noria" and the bolero "Dos Dolores", and with Manuel Burgos Vallina: "Botoncito de Azahar". He also put music on the boleros "Miedo De Amar" and "Otoño En Flor", the jarana "La cochinita pibil" and the dance "Imposibles" which won the second prize at the Cordemex Festival-Contest in 1976.
