Real name: 투야

to-ya was a short lived K-pop girl group from the early 2000s. When the group had formed in 1999, it consisted of Kim Ji-chung, Kim Ji-hye, and Ahn Jin-kyung. Ji-chung was replaced by Ryu Eun-joo when the group officially debuted in 2000. In 2003, the group disbanded due their label AStars (Norman Entertainment) , having to file for bankruptcy. In 2001, they won the New Artist Award at the Seoul Music Awards. Their name is derived from Ancient Egyptian; Tuya, Ramses II's mother.
