Xavier Turull
Real name: Xavier Turull i Creixell

(Barcelona, 1922-2000)Composer and classical violinist. He was an important performer of classical and modern violin sonatas. As a music professor, he taught violin and chamber music at Cauca University (Colombia) and Buenos Aires. He was the Director of the Barcelona Music Conservatory between 1977 and 1982.
Not to be confused with his nephew, Xavi Turull.
