South African band with vocalist Peter Taylor who passed away in 2014, in the UK, at age 66. He and various members originated from the UK and moved to South Africa in 1974.

In June 1978, Copperfield entered the local charts with their slowed-down, ballad interpretation of So You Win Again, which peaked at no. 2.[3] and no. 15 in Zimbabwe.

Richard Bailey was part of the group whilst still in the UK but left to join Magnum.
