Frank Walsh
Real name: Frank Walsh
Frank Walsh had played in various bands going back to the mid 1970's with his first group 'Tamburlaine' along with Tony Duke. He them formed Redwood with singer Tony Duke, lead guitarist Robin Boult, Bass player Pete Trewavas and Ed Rowe on drums. The band's made their debut recording 'Just another Week end' for the 'Aylesbury goes flacid' compilation. Redwood thenbecame The Cameras and then The Metros and released the 'Driving Us Crazy' EP. Walsh and Duke then signed to Arista and formed another group called Flip and the band released an album in 1986 and scored a Top 40 single 'That's what they say about love' in the Dutch charts. After Flip disbanded Walsh went on to join various local bands in Aylesbury. In 2009 Frank Walsh
re-emerged with The Old Country Union, a country rock band playing covers and some original material and released the 'Home Brew' album of original material. .He has also released three solo albums 'Hand Full Of Yesterdays' in 2017, 'A Certain Kinda Blue' in 2019 and 'Learn to heal' 2020.
