Born in 1980 the 10th of February in Telšiai, Lithuania. She took part in several music competitions starting from 2002. During 2004-2006 she appeared in LTV show "Lietuvos dainų dešimtukas". Her own solo career started in 2002 under the name Jurga Dingau. Few years later Jurga achieved breakthrough success with her debut solo album Aukso Pieva, which became platinum in Lithuania.

Follow-up releases Instrukcija and +37° (Goal of Science) were awarded golden album awards. To this date Jurga has released 8 studio albums, 1 concert album and 2 compilations. Jurga, her latest studio album, was released in 2020.

During her career Jurga has received many Lithuanian and international accolades among them MTV European Music Award for Best Baltic Act, Baltic Song Festival Grand Prix in Sweden, Woman of the Year prize in Lithuania (2007), various Lithuanian music awards for best debut, best song, best album, best video, artist of the year and many others.

Jurga Šeduikyte is now active singer, composer, author of three books and making a new record. She has also become known as actress and film director.
