Karlsruher Sport-Club Mühlburg-Phönix e. V., commonly known as Karlsruher SC is an association football club from Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg competing in the 2. Bundesliga, the 2nd-tier of professional football in Germany.
Founded in 1894 and playing their home matches at the Wildparkstadion to a capacity of 29,699, the team have won the German football championship once in 1909. They won the German second division title in 1983–84, and 2006–07 and a third division title in 2012–13. They also won the German Cup in 1954–55, and 1955–56 as well as the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996.
