Real name: John deVries

Indie rock singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer, born in 1961 and died January 4, 2023 in Wappinger Falls, New York, age 61.
DeVries joined the band Bangkok Rendezvous while studying at Dutchess Community College in 1979. He was the co-founder of Poughkeepsie, New York art-punk band Agitpop, started in 1981. After Agitpop split in 1992, he formed the band Cellophane with Mark LaFalce and also played with New York band Grand Mal and punk rock cover band The Mermaid Killers.
